It's different every time. Some are ridiculous. Others are downright painful. The first Shift I ever endured, every door and window would lead to other places. One minute you'd be in your apartment, next thing you knew you were in someones bathroom across the village.

Other times...our memories are wiped and replaced with false ones. Last time that happened I thought I was related to Loki-[crap, okay. So he didn't think that one through. It's not exactly the best way to broach the subject.]

Yeah...Loki is here too. Two of them actually. The other one is just a kid. He's from a different universe a lot like ours.
