[She gets to work on the grilling the sandwiches, the hot pan making it easier. She doesn't say anything as she watches the sandwiches, sorting out just what she wants to touch on and what's not ready yet.

Transferring them to plates, she grabs a knife cutting them both into four small triangles to make it easier with the soup before handing him one of the plates.]

[ The soup is simple enough. Rich broths never took too much tending once they were of the appropriate temperature. once the sandwiches were prepared he ladled them out bowls of the soup and set them upon the table, sitting so he might be close to her level. ]

[She grabs some parmesan, or the dome equivalent, from the fridge to sprinkle on the soup before settling at the table. She focuses on the food for a moment rather than the question. When she's actually ready, she gives a small sigh, spoon poking at the soup.]

I don't even know where to start. There's so much that could be wrong, but are - were Loki and I close?

[She's more grateful than she can even begin to express when he starts at the beginning. She doesn't want to assume anything. It's easier to rebuild what's real and what's fake with a solid base.

She takes a bite of the sandwich, giving a small frown.]

[Because she didn't know how deep this went, or if something might have altered with him. It didn't seem like it from the way he was talking, but then again she didn't want to take anything at face value.]

Their tricks do not work on all Immune at all times. They have attempted to make me forget Lucas Bell, I have not. They have attempted to turn my mind against my own kin- and I shall not. I am uncertain if the pattern shall hold but I am certain that it will cause them some frustration if it does.

[Because it's definitely not something she can promise him. Although she's trying to get everything back to how it was at least on her end. People come and go and sometimes it's out of their control.

Shaking it off, she pulls out some of her notes to hand over so he can look at them. They include Loki finding her after Amalric died, her hanging out with him before she and Thor went ice skating, having beer floats in the kitchen with the two of them, and the most muddled stuff from when they went outside the dome the first time.]

That's what I've got pretty much sorted out but the last one is the trickiest.

[Warrior on blades... That catches her off guard a little - earning a long pause before she responds.]

Thanks, but I think I'll pass on that. I feel like it'd take a lot more practice than it'd be worth. Besides, there are probably better ways to spend my time.
